WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Overview training curriculum

DAY 1

Objectives, CAPA, and using internal audit to drive improvement

Day one focuses on the engine of a mature SQF system: clear objectives, a CAPA process that actually surfaces root causes, and an internal audit program that does more than meet the clause.

  • Establishing food safety and quality objectives aligned to Edition 10
  • Implementing the corrective and preventive action process to address those objectives
  • Using the internal audit process to verify corrective actions and prioritize improvement
  • Trend analysis from CAPA, complaints, and audit findings
  • Hands-on exercise: build an internal audit schedule that mirrors site risk
DAY 2

Continuous improvement, re-certification readiness & KPIs

Day two zooms out from individual processes to the system as a whole — culture, leadership engagement, KPIs, and a runway to re-certification.

  • Continuous improvement of the SQF system between audits
  • Preparation for the SQF Edition 10 re-certification audit
  • Improving the demonstration of management's commitment
  • Developing and prioritizing key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Communicating ROI of food safety and quality initiatives to site leadership
