Food Processing- Auditing

Animal Welfare-
This audit ensures that facilities
are following the Humane Slaughter Act
(HSA). The audit checks for abuse before
slaughter and sanitary conditions.
GMA-SAFE-
This audit was developed by the National
Food Processors Association (NFPA) and can
only be conducted by certified auditors.
This audit lasts for several days and covers
quality systems, Standard Operating
Procedure (SOPs), building maintenance,
employee training, HACCP, GMPs, and other
areas.
GMP Quality Systems-
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are
required by 21 CFR 100. This audit focuses
on preventing contamination and minimizing
errors. Areas of inspection include record
keeping, personnel practices, equipment
maintenance, sanitation, procedures, and
complaint policies.
Global Audits-

with our global audits. Whether it's in
China, Mexico, Canada, or any other country,
ASI's strict standards and quality auditing

Commercial Kitchen
Audits- This audit is based on GMPs
and is
used by high volume kitchens. Storage,
cooking, serving, cooling, reheating foods,
and HACCP are covered in this audit.
Distribution and
Packaging- These third party audits
for distribution centers and packaging
facilities focus on sanitation, pest
control, employee practices, security,
maintenance, and quality systems. Auditors
leave a hard copy of the report at the
facility and an edited version will be
emailed shortly thereafter.
